How to use Automotive Endoscope in 4 kinds of fault detection

Automotive endoscopes have become a good helper in the automotive maintenance industry, and are often used to detect various faults in automobiles, such as engine carbon deposit inspection, three-catalysis inspection, throttle valve inspection, air conditioning evaporator box inspection, and so on.

1. Engine carbon deposit inspection

How to use: Remove the spark plug or fuel injector, and use the car endoscope to observe the degree of carbon deposits on the valve. If too much carbon deposits, you need to remove the cylinder head for manual cleaning, or add two bottles of gasoline additives to the fuel tank.

Advantages: The formation and combustion process of mixed gas in the combustion chamber and the working conditions of cylinders, valves and piston crowns at high temperatures can be observed under the working conditions of the engine, and the above images can be recorded with the crank angle as a mark by a high-speed camera.

2. Three-catalysis inspection

How to use: First disassemble the oxygen sensor, and then insert the three-way catalyst from the oxygen sensor hole with an endoscope probe to check whether the three-way catalyst needs maintenance. If maintenance is needed, curing agent can be used.

Advantages: You can directly use the endoscope to take pictures of the actual situation of the three-way catalytic converter before and after maintenance to the owner. Visually show the effect and importance of maintenance.

3. Throttle check

How to use: Put the endoscope probe into the throttle valve and check whether the throttle valve needs maintenance. If maintenance is needed, curing agent can be used.

Advantages: You can directly use the endoscope to take pictures of the actual conditions in the throttle before and after maintenance to show the owner. Visually show the effect and importance of maintenance.

4. Inspection of the air-conditioning evaporator

How to use: Put the endoscope probe outside the air-conditioning evaporation box to check whether the evaporation box needs maintenance. If maintenance is needed, curing agent can be used.

Advantages: You can directly use the endoscope to take pictures of the actual situation in the air-conditioning evaporator box before and after maintenance for the owner to see. Visually show the effect and importance of maintenance.
